Blessed are the Poor in Spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of heaven.
-Am I grateful for what I have?
-Do I remember that everything I have comes from God?
-Do I collect too many unnecessary things?
Blessed are they who Mourn, for they will be comforted.
-Do I confide in others when I am sad?
-Am I compassionate to others who are sad?
-Do I share my sad feelings in prayer to Jesus?
Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the land.
-Do I tease others?
-Do I have the courage to be gentle?
-Am I ever pushy or bossy?
Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be satisfied.
-Do I defend people who are picked on?
-Do I follow the teachings of Jesus?
-Do I ignore injustice?
Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy
-Do I share without asking for anything in return?
-Am I friends with those who are left out?
-Do I find it hard to forgive others?
Blessed are the clean of heart, for they will see God.
-Is God the center of my life?
-Do I base my actions on the teachings of Jesus?
-Do I consider anything more important than God?
Blessed are the Peacemakers, for they will be called children of God
-Do I stand up for what is right?
-Do I value everone as God's creation?
-Do I try to get along with everyone?
Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.
-Am I willing to suffer in order to do the right thing?
-Do I thank Jesus for suffering for me?
-Do I follow Jesus with joy, even when it is difficult?
